As the founder and CEO of Decades, Nancy is dedicated to ensuring that elders and vulnerable adults are provided with the highest quality service by her team of professional, caring, and compassionate staff. Nancy has more than 30 years’ experience providing clinical and financial management services to adults. Her emphasis and training have been in the areas of aging, geriatrics, mental health, and family mediation. Early in her career, she spent 10 years as a financial planning practitioner before obtaining her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Nancy has worked in both the non-profit and private care management settings with seniors. She is a nationally certified Master Guardian, a designation held by fewer than 100 professionals in the United States. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a nationally Certified Care Manager, and a Certified Financial Planner, Nancy brings an enormous depth of experience and knowledge to her clients and to the professional team. She is dedicated to ensuring that our elders and vulnerable adults are provided with the highest quality service; by the best, most caring, and compassionate professional staff possible.
Nancy is very active in the Albuquerque community formerly serving on the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Guardianship Association (Past President), SAGE Albuquerque Advisory Committee, and the New Mexico Guardianship Task Force. She is currently the treasurer/secretary of both the New Mexico Estate Planning Council and the Southern New Mexico Estate Planning Council. She is a member of the National Aging Life Care Association and the National Guardianship Association. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and traveling when she can. Her greatest passion is mentoring young professionals and speaking to groups about aging-related topics.
